Build your Thinking Notebook

A workspace where an agent collects and sorts for you, and where you decide what stays. Fill in your connections below, copy the prompt into Claude, and after about 30 minutes your own notebook is running.

The file contains your personal prompt for Claude, the steps, a Notion template and the 7-day plan. It adapts as soon as you fill in your connections below.

For nerds: the complete guide with stream recording, local transcription and automation →

Three pages, one principle

Think ahead

Calendar · News

What's coming up, what's moving? The agent prepares it, you set the focus.

Think along

Transcripts · Notes

Meeting, talk or stream in. The agent extracts takeaways, you keep or discard.

Think back

3 thoughts · Export

Three thoughts from what you kept. You rewrite them, then off to Notion.

Your connections

All four fields are empty. Fill in what you want to use. Whatever stays empty, the notebook leaves out or replaces with an input field.

Calendar

Empty
  1. 1Open claude.ai, Settings, Connectors
  2. 2Add your calendar and sign in
  3. 3Allow access the first time you open the notebook

News

Empty

The notebook itself cannot fetch web pages. Claude researches the news and stores it. Automatically every morning works with a scheduled task in Claude.

  1. 1Open claude.ai, Settings, Connectors
  2. 2Set topics, Claude researches them
  3. 3Create a scheduled task for every morning

Transcript source

Empty
  1. 1Export or copy the transcript in your tool
  2. 2Paste it in the notebook under Think along or load it as a file (.txt .vtt .md)
  3. 3One input per meeting or talk

Notion

Empty
  1. 1Click Notion export in the notebook, you get a .md file
  2. 2In Notion: Settings, Import, Text and Markdown
  3. 3Automatic: connect Notion in claude.ai and create a scheduled task for the sync

Your prompt for Claude

It adapts while you fill in the fields above. Copy, paste into a new chat in Claude, send.

Build me a thinking notebook as an Artifact. Look: white background like a notebook, fine ruled lines, handwritten headings, calm and easy to read. Three pages side by side, stacked on mobile. Store all entries permanently in the notebook.

1. THINK AHEAD
- No calendar. Instead a short field "What's on today?" to fill in myself.
- An empty news section with a note that Claude can store news there later.

2. THINK ALONG
- An input field for transcripts or notes: paste or load a file (.txt .md .vtt .srt), plus name, title and time.
- On save, extract all takeaways, sorted into insight, task and open question. Quantity is welcome, I filter myself.
- Every takeaway has the buttons "Keep" and "Discard", with a field for the reason on discard.
- At the top a count: how many takeaways you delivered, how many I kept and how many I discarded.

3. THINK BACK
- "Reshuffle" picks three random thoughts from my kept takeaways. I can rewrite each thought.
- A button "Notion export" downloads everything as a Markdown file.

Rules: English. Invent nothing. Quotes only verbatim from the text. You may collect and suggest, I decide.

How to proceed

  1. 1

    Fill in connections

Above, only what you really use.

  2. 2

    Paste the prompt into Claude

Ideally in a project "Thinking Notebook". Claude builds the notebook as an Artifact.

  3. 3

    Allow access consciously

Calendar, Claude for condensing, download. Everything can be revoked later.

  4. 4

    Test a first transcript

Then discard deliberately, and note the reason for at least one takeaway.

  5. 5

    Automate once it works

Ask Claude: "Create a scheduled task that stores news every morning and syncs to Notion in the evening."

Notes

Data

  • Do not paste confidential customer, personnel or health data
  • Only process other people's transcripts with their consent
  • With company accounts, follow the internal AI policy
  • The notebook is private until you share it yourself

Thinking

  • The agent may collect and suggest, you decide
  • Discard at least one takeaway every day, with a reason
  • Always rewrite the three thoughts yourself before sharing them
  • If you only click "Keep" anymore: pause, summarise yourself
